How Do I Join?

Any level of involvement makes you a part of OAG. You can write an article, post an event, start a research project, come to one of our monthly socials, or get more closely involved through one of our fellowships (listed below). It’s that simple. Why not join now?

You(th) can also help us out by distributing fliers & zines. If you are interested, get in touch!

Research Projects

You(th) can propose your own research project, on any social issue. The research process engages you(th) at three distinct levels;

1) Application to research a particular social justice issue that needs reform.

2) Presentation of initial findings through articles published on the Takeover.

3) Completion & circulation of research publications on our website in addition to hard copy.

All research applications are sent to the executive board for approval. A cycle of engagement ensues once young publication readers apply to launch research projects of their own.

Why research with OAG? We have funds, tools, and connections to help make your project easy & effective. We’ll connect you to other youth interested in your subject, and to organizations active in your issue area. Also, we help put your work to work for social justice, through the publication and distributions of your articles & research-zine.

All accepted research projects receive a $100 award. OAG is always accepting research project applications.
